Hello, my love bugs!
Last weekend was the 5th annual KCON aka a convention that brings "All Things Hallyu" to the American fan base.
As someone who's been to KCON all 5 years, this year in particular was really quite special. I had the opportunity to be a part of 3 panels - 2 as a panelist and 1 as a moderator - and have my very own meet & greet at the Memebox x MakeupPlus App Booth! I spoke about K-pop fashion along side Justin Kim, Nicqueen, and Zach Choi; #DoItForTheGram with Nicqueen, Zach, Hieu Cow, and Edward Zo; and Korean Celebrity Inner Beauty Secrets with Beauty by Bell. It's been such a whirlwind experience, but I wouldn't have asked for it any other way.
I also had the chance to takeover moonROK.com's snapchat over the course of 3 days, so we have some very exciting interviews coming your way! Be sure to be on the look out for that.
And of course, probably my favorite thing about KCON, is being able to see friends from all over the world. It's true that K-pop brings people together, and through KCON I've made some amazing friends and reunited with old friends - as you can see in the vlog!
